Amburana Brazilian oak

Amburana Brazilian oak

Although Amburana is a commonly harvested tree in South America, this was a new find for a craft spirits producer and beer. Amburana is known as "Brazilian oak" and is commonly used in South America for making essential oils, making luxury furniture and maturing in barrels the most popular Brazilian spirit, Cachaça.
These medium-toasted casks create bold, unique flavours that really make your product stand out. With every use, you can expect rich, consistent flavours of:

Cinnamon & baking spices
Maple syrup & butterscotch
Vanilla & graham cracker

The natural intensity of the Amburana wood profile means these barrels continue to deliver rich, consistent results after multiple uses, so you get great flavour filling after filling.
